FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Do we offer furnished units?

    At this time, we do NOT offer furnished units. All units will come with blinds and major kitchen appliances! 

  • How long are the leases?

    Our leases are 12 months long. They will run from August 12th- July 27th of the following year!

  • How does parking work?

    At move in, each resident will be given ONE parking hangtag. The hangtag must be visible at all times on the property. We do NOT offer guest parking, but there are several parking areas that are offered by the city/university nearby. Towing is enforced from 11pm-8am daily. On football home game weekends, towing will start at 11pm on the Friday and go through 8am on Sunday morning. 

  • Do we offer tours?

    Yes! We offer tours from 10am-5pm, M-F. We are opening some Saturdays, so please give us a call if you would like a Saturday tour!

  • Is there a leasing office on site?

    Yes! The leasing office is located in front of the property in the large middle building! 

  • Is there laundry in the units?

    There is not in unit laundry offered here at Mag1. BUT, we have a code protected, commerical sized laundry room on site. It features washers, dryers, and vending machines. Resident will recieve the code at move in. The laundry is FREE for residents. You will only need to bring your own laundry detergent!

  • How can we pay rent?

    Rent can be paid by using our online portal system. We do not accept paper/in office payments! You can find the online link on our homepage at the top or download the app! The app is called Online Portal by Appfolio!

  • Do we allow pets?

    We do allow your furry friends! We have a few restrictions, though. For dogs they must be at least a year of age and UNDER 80 lbs. There is a one time non-refundable pet fee of $300, and $25 a month pet rent. We only accept a certain number of pets each year. Please seek approval when you sign your lease to guarantee your pet's spot.

  • How does mail delivery work?

    We have a mailbox area in between buildings A and B. Each resident will be given a mailbox key. Small paper bills/packages will be put in your mailbox. If large packages that wont fit in your mailbox are delivered while the office is open, they will come to the office and we will send you a message. If your package comes after hours or on the weekend, they will come to your front door! 

  • What utilities are included?

    Water, Cable, Wifi Service, Trash, and Pest Control are all included. Power must be set up and paid directly through Alabama Power.

  • What amenities do you offer?

    We offer a gym, fenced in dog park, and a sundeck area for resdients!

  • Do we have emergency maintenance?

    We have a maintenance tech that is at the property everyday. We also have an after hours emergency answering serive. If you call the office number after hours it will be answered by them! If it is a true emergency, they will dispatch one of the maintenance techs to your unit! All maintenance problems, both emergency or not, will need to be submitted in the online portal work order section!
